At Childcare4u we appreciate that choosing the right nursery for your child is of paramount importance.
In two privately owned, Ofsted approved nurseries we offer excellent quality child care at an affordable price for children aged from 0 to 5 years. You will find here information on all aspects of the nurseries, gain an insight into a typical day and see what our parents think about the service we provide.
Our vision - We work in partnership with parents to achieve excellence in childcare. Our quality services ensure children develop socially, intellectually, culturally, physically and emotionally in a homely, caring and secure environment.
Our development programme - Our development programmes are tailored for each age range and include a range of creative activities, languages, early computer skills and emergent reading and writing to help the children develop. Our programme meets the Ofsted endorsed 'Early Years Foundation Stages' curriculum and the Bucks County Council funding requirements. We employ a dedicated primary school teacher for group learning sessions and bring in specialists for music, languages and physical development on a weekly basis.
Our staff - We pride ourselves in the childcare knowledge and business expertise of our Senior Team, and we ensure that all members of staff are handpicked for their qualifications, skills and capabilities. We place a strong emphasis on team working and training, and believe in retaining our staff.
Our premises - We have two premises located in Marlow town centre and Beaconsfield New Town.
Our Marlow nursery is a Grade II listed residential building spread over 4 floors and 9 rooms. The rooms are divided by age range and activity and include a dedicated sleep room, a cosy corner and a creative playroom. We have a small garden and a large enclosed local park within 25 metres of our premises. Parking is available in the Central car park adjacent to the nursery. Parents may purchase a 15-minute drop off and collection parking permit.
Our Beaconsfield nursery is a short walk from the High Street and Railway station, in a residential building spread over 2 floors and 8 rooms. The rooms are divided by age range and activity and include a dedicated sleep room, a sensory room and several messy creative areas. We have a small enclosed secure garden with an all-weather surface, log cabin and a large variety of play equipment. Parking is available in the Warwick Road car park adjacent to the nursery and parents are provided with a 15-minute drop off and collection parking permit free of charge.
Our partnership approach - Our parent staff partnership approach is integral to our way of working. We continually encourage parents to ask questions, observe the nursery in action and discuss their child's individual needs and progress with the appointed key carer. A senior member of staff is always within the building and ready to answer parents' questions.
Our overriding aim is to ensure that the children enjoy their days at Childcare4u and when they leave for school, they are happy confident and ready for their new challenges.
